After using her summer to create a small business selling custom embroidery, Keigan McCullagh (‘21) is coming back to school as a senior. Keigan has been with the Webb Canyon Chronicle for two years,improving and learning throughout her time. She fondly remembers getting her first articlepublished and reflects on her growth as a writer, and she is now the Editor of Newsfor the WCC this year.She is also the Co-President of Webb’s LGBTQ+ and Allies Club and Vice President of our USITT chapter. Her astrological sign is Libra. She loves to learn about history. You can always find her playing the guitar or listening to music, her favorite bands being Fleetwood Mac and the Lumineers. Besides music, she loves her dog Lily. Also, Keigan’s favorite food is chicken nuggets. Keigan’s goal for the WCC this year is to report more breaking news in hope of shedding light on important subjects the Webb community should know about. Shewould also like to encourage everyone to go vote for the 2020 election!
Paige Woodard (‘21), a Claremont native, takes on the exciting role of Editor of Culture and Lifestyle as a first-year journalist. Paige’s own lifestyle is defined by her enthusiasm for knitting, braiding, and gardening.Besides filling her room with an excessive amount of house plants including three different types of snake plants, Paige also grows her own vegetables in the backyard! Sheadmires mola-mola, the largest boney fish in the world, whose lifestyle consists solely of floating around the ocean. As a plant and animal lover,there is no surprise that among the most important issues for Paige are environmental justice and climate change. As someone with a unique lifestyle of her own, Paige is excited to expand the horizons ofthe Culture and Lifestyle section this year.Overall, as a journalist, she hopes toconnect the Webb community amidst the pandemic.
