Jonathan is WSC Varsity Soccer this year; having been a part of the program for the last 3 seasons, he said, “I am excited for my senior season and enjoy playing with my friends on the team.” Both Matt and Jonathan are excited for this season of sports at Webb and plan to attend as many of their fellow peers' games as well.

Aside from this, Nick enjoys skateboarding with friends, listening to artists like PlayboiCarti and Tay-K or watching some of his favorite shows like The Office or BoJack Horseman. This past summer, Nick returned to Long Island,New York, where he often returns each year to spend with his family.From working as a busboy to volunteering as a nurse, Nick was staying busy.Whetherin front of or behind the camera, he finds a way to capture his passions in the spotlight.His interests in both business from trading stocks and the medical field have inspiredhimto pursue a future in the biotech business industry. As Nick enters his final year at Webb and in journalism as the Editor of Photography, he hopes to expand the media contenthe puts out while enjoying his last memories here,one click at a time.

Serving on the Honor Committee and contributing to the Webb Canyon Chronicle as a Copy Editor,Kathy showcases her dedication and dependability, readily addressing any questionsfrom political theory and philosophy to the finer points of the Webb Canyon Chronicle’s style guide. During thesummers of her sophomore and junior years, she immersed herself in an internship at a community law firm, deftly managing client communications. Beyond her legal pursuits, Kathy shines as a passionate debater, and is an integral part of the Webb debate team.Most notably, shefounded a non-profit organization, Roundtable Debate Academy, that makes speech and debate classes more accessible. Taya Sibichenkova’s (‘24) kindness and commitment to bettering the world through medicinal and environmental studies shines throughout every aspect of her life. From dedicating her summer to researching population health alongside graduate scientists, to sharing her passion for nature as a children’s science camp counselor, to creating anindependent research proposal on drug repurposing at the Claremont Colleges, Taya’s interest in health is boundless. Partly driven by her selfless, caring personality and ability to think outside the box, Taya knows the importance of a holistic approach to medicine and a health As Chief Editor of News, she is ready to recognize and spread awareness of the issues our world faces, such as her article on the timeline of the Ukraine-Russia war. Yet Taya’s leadership is not just limited to news and science. For two years now, she has served as a welcoming admissions ambassador.
