Most Popular Takeout Spots:
Chick-fil-A (DoorDash) | Convenience and speed play a huge role in food choices, which is why sometimes for Webb boarders, ordering in just makes more sense. Chick-fil-A is one of those places that delivers fast—crispy chicken sandwiches, waffle fries, and signature sauces all at your door before you even get too hungry. Reliable quality, quick service, and affordable prices make it an easy choice. It is a go-to for Webb students for a reason, whether it is a classic sandwich, nuggets, or a refreshing lemonade. “I always order Chick-fil-A because it never goes wrong,” Lucci Troendle (‘26) said.
Most Underrated Takeout Spots:
Katsu Ramen and Gyoza | Among the many Japanese restaurants in the area, there is Katsu Ramen and Gyoza, which doesn’t get nearly enough credit. As its name suggests, they do ramen and gyoza and do them extremely well. The gyoza comes out crispy, and the ramen is rich and full of flavor. What really sets this place apart is the mixture of ingredients in the ramen—chewy noodles, the deep, savory broth, and a hit of black garlic oil. It all comes together in a way that just works. The key, though, is what it tastes like when ordered for delivery. "Their ramen never arrives soggy, which is so much better than other places,” Lucci said.
Most Overrated Takeout Spots:
Chipotle (DoorDash, Ubereats) | Over the years, Chipotle blew up on social media, not necessarily for its taste, but because it became kind of meal that fits the pre or post-workout aesthetic. A bowl that looks balanced, something people associate Chipotle with “healthiness.” Despite the hype, a lot of Webb students simply are not convinced. Chipotle is often described as “mid”—bland flavors, hit-or-miss quality, and nothing that really stands out. If you are looking for a meal with real depth, something that delivers every time, Chipotle might not be it.
“The ingredients don’t taste as well as in-person stores when you order it on apps ... and honestly, I think it’s too salty,” Mia Li (‘27) said.
