Webb Canyon Chronicle

Oma Sukul

Oma Sukul, Editor of Media

Oma Sukul (‘23) is one of the most accepting and bubbly people you will meet at Webb. As an athlete on the volleyball team, Oma demonstrates dedication to both academics and sports. She hopes to spread true news and give students a voice in the Webb Canyon Chronicle. Furthermore, Oma will use her experience as photography and publicity commissioner for Webb student government in her position as Editor of Media. When she is not busy studying or at volleyball practice, Oma enjoys spending her free time with friends; going to the beach; hanging out with her cat, Lucky; and exploring Canada with family. She would advise her past self to not care what other people think of her, and to just be herself. Oma brings enthusiasm for learning to the Honors Ethics and Modern Global Affairs classroom because of its thought-provoking course load. At the WCC, Oma also plans on investigating anti-racism because, as a minority herself, she believes that no one should be discriminated against due to their skin color.
