Jenny Wang, Copy Editor
Jenny Wang ('24) is coming back to the Webb Canyon Chronicle after spending a memorable summer at the School of The New York Times, a summer program where she studied journalism and human rights. She is a WCC Copy Editor and is eager to continue perusing her passion for journalism further this year. In addition to her promotion, Jenny is also a member of the Honor cabinet and the chapel council. She enjoys reading, specifically historical fiction books, playing the piano or flute, hanging out with her friends on the weekends, engaging in rigorous debates as she has been a member of the Webb debate team for the past two years, or watching her favorite shows such as Grey's Anatomy and Gilmore Girls. Her interests are geared towards humanitarian-based needs, particularly intrigued about the role of the United Nations, passionate about stopping human rights abuse, and how people’s nationalist identities can try to exclude others. Setting high goals this year, Jenny hopes to accurately and thoroughly edit articles for the WCC that express strong opinions.
