Some people naturally command attention the moment they walk into a room, and Jayden Áleman has always been one of them. Somewhere between stage lights, soccer crowds, and loud Webb dance floors, Jayden learned that performance gave her permission to fully become herself. From the time she started playing soccer at four years old, weekends quickly became family events centered around games and tournaments, with her father coaching and her older sister leading the way. Eventually becoming captain of the girls’ soccer team, Jayden became known for something less flashy but just as important: creating opportunities for everyone else. A natural passer and assist maker, she controlled the rhythm of games even if those moments did not always earn the loudest recognition. Performing arts, however, gave her a place where her humor, confidence, and her larger-than-life personality could never go unnoticed. Whether playing Persephone in “Hadestown,” performing in Seussical, or dancing at the center of a packed homecoming crowd, Jayden fully embraces every spotlight. That same presence carried into every corner of Webb life as a Head Honor Council member, Head Student Leaders Council member, and Lead Admission Fellow. Now, as she heads to Loyola Marymount University to study marketing and communications, Jayden will continue carrying that spotlight wherever she goes.
