If you’re stranded in a random desert with a group of friends in full panic mode, Lucci Troendle is the human GPS you want by your side. He’s the one saying, “Okay, here’s what we’re gonna do,” while holding the map and somehow comforting everyone at the same time. At Webb, that sense of direction shows up everywhere. Whether it’s the dance show, in musical theater, or during a chapel talk picture where no one has any clue what is going on, Lucci only has to start speaking before the crowd falls into place. At first, it seems like Lucci just knows how to get people from one place to another. Since freshman year, he has been the steady leader who can guide even the most chaotic friends through a mall, a random street, or the beach before anyone starts to feel lost. But Lucci’s sense of direction goes beyond roads; it shows up in life, too. As a prefect, he sits with residents through friendship drama, helps guide leadership selections, and somehow makes even a dorm announcement feel fun. As a roommate, he’s the definition of “we listen and we don’t judge.” No matter how tired he is, Lucci will still stay up talking with you about life until one of you falls asleep. People don’t surround Lucci because he tries to be the center of attention; they surround him because, with Lucci, everyone feels a little more guided and a little less lost.
