If you are wondering what Amelia Centeno is doing in her free time, nine out of ten times, she is creating. As both a photographer and jewelry maker, Amelia’s days are filled with moments behind a camera lens or characterized by immense focus as she twists wires and attaches jewels to make beautiful jewelry. Of course, she is a master at both, with clients hiring her to take their senior portraits or professional photos for various occasions, and a jewelry business that garners orders. Amelia’s creativity flows into everything she does, whether planning events as a Head Day Student Prefect or putting pre-wrap in her hair before taking the field as the goalkeeper of the girls’ soccer team. A natural-born leader, Amelia utilizes her creative edge to think outside the box and excel in experiments and discussions in her favorite classes, Advanced Studies Biotechnology and Advanced Studies Gender Studies. As her Webb journey comes to a close, Amelia looks toward her future at Colorado College in Colorado Springs, where she will study biology. Although Webb will feel a little less bright without Amelia, Webb is wondering: what will she create next?
