Before you even see him, you will hear his voice deep in a conversation with someone nearby. Self-described as someone who “loves yapping,” Alexander Lee thrives on connection, whether he’s talking basketball or football, debating comics, or hanging out in dorms with friends. A devoted fan of the Lakers and Steelers, Alex’s passion for sports extends beyond watching games to competing in tennis and triathlon, sports that taught him the value of hard work and perseverance. He also describes himself as enthusiastic and loyal, traits most visible in the way he approaches academics and friendships, always bringing energy and care into the communities around him. What Alex cherishes most, however, are the countless hours spent talking, laughing, and playing games with friends in the dorms. Looking back, Alex realizes that success is not defined by college acceptances but by whether someone can truly be proud of the effort they gave. Since coming to Webb, Alex had quickly found a sense of belonging in the school’s close-knit community, something he says he will miss most as he heads to UCLA next year.
