Ever since Aanya Mehta received her signature BMW, her weekends, free periods, and even some classes have been filled with adventures. Coming from San Dimas, California (though originally born in Ohio), Aanya, almost to a fault, never turns down an opportunity to try new restaurants like Erewhon or Poké or spend time with her friends and family. On the rare occasion you catch her away from the steering wheel of her car, Aanya is probably reliving one of her favorite Webb memories: “working out” with her friends in the yoga room during spring Functional Fitness. Known for her surprisingly elite basketball knowledge, endless inside jokes, and kindness, it makes sense that only she could make even skipping so many classes that graduation feels at risk sound like a good idea. Next year, as she leaves both her car and Webb to study biochemistry at Boston University, we will surely miss her elite fits and her ability to turn even the most mundane task into an experience worth remembering.
