Jovana Luna, Staff Writer

After being the academic decathlon representative for current events, Jovana Luna ('24) is ready to be on the other side of the mic and begin her reporting career at Webb. Currently a first-year journalist for the Webb Canyon Chronicle, Jovana is excited to meet new people, learn, and share knowledge. Aside from her budding passion for current events, Jovana is an advocate for social justice and hopes to voice these issues in her writing. On the weekends, you can find Jovana walking her dog, hanging out with her friends at Victoria Gardens, reading extensively, or playing some Beatles classics on her guitar. Jovana is also open to diving headfirst into new things like trying different cuisines or exploring old music. This year, she joined the WCC and began playing volleyball for the first time. Jovana is ready to step out of her comfort zone, take on difficult topics, improve her writing, and do amazing work here at the WCC.
