Webb Canyon Chronicle

Narineh Madikians

Narineh Madikians, Editor of Culture & Lifestyle

Narineh Madikians (‘23) is back with the Webb Canyon Chronicle this year as the Culture and Lifestyle Editor! In the past, Narineh has struggled with finding a way to identify with both her Mexican and Armenian heritage, having experienced this, Narineh is excited to express the importance of cultural inclusivity and spread awareness of the issues that many biracial people face. She is a big fan of the humanities department as her favorite classes have been American Idea and Modern Constitutional Debates, which both dive into American politics, both past, and present. Narineh has recently become a peer advisor and is now on Webb’s varsity volleyball team. You will most likely find Narineh hanging out with her friends in the Fawcett Library. She has two adorable dogs, Jekkie and Dash, and she often walks them around the streets of Claremont. She loves going to the beach and listening to Rex Orange County and Mac Miller. This year, Narineh will continue her journey as a journalist, making Webb Canyon Chronicle a primary platform for student voices.
