Webb peer advisors spook students at zombie apocalypse

![As Webbies attempted to register for the SAT this year, many of them were met with similar results: every testing center was full. This year, Leo Levitin-Shilman (‘23) is a new face on the Webb Canyon Chronicle team as a staff writer. As a writing enthusiast, it’s no surprise his favorite class was Fundamentals of Composition with Mr. Hansen, which enhanced his writing style. When Leo is not preparing to write a 20-page essay or bragging about being able to name every country in under five minutes, he is most likely hanging out with his friends or getting victory royales in Fortnite. He also loves to watch sitcoms like Seinfeld and play video games with his friends, as they bring out the best of his inner child. Leo is an avid helper in his community, taking on leadership roles as a camp counselor, peer advisor, and admission ambassador all within the last year. As his new role as a staff writer kicks off, Leo would like to contribute to the depth of the Webb Canyon Chronicle by either voicing students’ opinions or creating media content. Leo hopes his work expands people’s outlook on a variety of subjects, bringing the community closer in any way he can.

Nicolaas Grobler, Co-Editor of Photography
Relishing all the small moments, Nicolaas Grobler (‘24) captures them all by engaging with different forms of media, from video editing to photography. Aside from this, Nick enjoys skateboarding with friends, listening to artists like Playboi Carti and Tay-K or watching some of his favorite shows like The Office or BoJack Horseman. This past summer, Nick returned to Long Island, New York, where he often returns each year to spend with his family. From working as a busboy to volunteering as a nurse, Nick was staying busy. Whether in front of or behind the camera, he finds a way to capture his passions in the spotlight. His interests in both business from trading stocks and the medical field have inspired him to pursue a future in the biotech business industry. As Nick enters his final year at Webb and in journalism as the Editor of Photography, he hopes to expand the media content he puts out while enjoying his last memories here, one click at a time.
