The Vivian Webb and Webb School crests rest side by side in the Vivian Webb Chapel. The crests represent each separate school and their respective foundations. “I feel like a lot of Webb has revolved around this with school model, and I feel like combining the schools would change a lot of traditions and it would take away a lot of history that weve had,” said Ale Fountain (‘24), a junior day student. Ale refers to Webb’s plan to eventually reconstruct the two schools and rebrand as one co-educational school. For upperclassmen, this change does not impact much, as they will finish their Webb experience under the two-school system. However, for current underclassmen, their entire Webb experience might shift.

Webb students of all different grades cheer as students Tony Gao (‘26) and Julia Fenner (‘23) battle it out in the middle of Stockdale center as Eric Hansen, Humanities Department faculty, refereed the event. Webb night was packed with different games and events, and as students began to disperse from arm wrestling, they headed over to the activity they had signed up for or just to cheer on fellow classmates.

A look into the dorms that house over half of the students at Webb, and act as a new home away from home. Each dorm is unique, some having single floors, some having two, rooms with balconies, and rooms with entire backyards. Dorm life is the backbone of Webb, and it only makes sense that each dorm has its own culture, community, and spirit.

The Hooper Community Center is one of the first buildings you see when walking onto the Webb campus. The old building stands as a symbol of welcoming as it greets you with its newly refurbished interior and beautiful fountain. The building will soon undergo a name change in the honor of retiring Head of Schools, Taylor B. Stockdale.

After returning to Webb from February break, students and faculty were pleasantly surprised to see that the Fawcett Librarys old furniture has been replaced with new, modern-looking ones. With brand new couches, tables, desks, chairs, and booths, the library now has more seating for students to hangout, socialize, do homework, or work on group projects together. It also has created a more inviting environment for students to feel more comfortable in the library.
