As a talented baker and cook, Sydney Mildon (‘25) has sweetened the atmosphere around her. With her social and creative talents, she has skillfully seasoned her life Due to her sweet characteristics, Sydney expresses her personality like her famous key lime pies. As the head dorm prefect of Appleby, Sydney has expressed her passion for building a safe community in her dorm. She also indicated that she loves interacting with new students to help them whisk into the Webb community. Additionally, Sydney also dreams of becoming a prosecutor. During her stay at the reputable Georgetown University’s Law and Advocacy program this summer, she supported her interest in political science. While her idea about feminism helps her develop justice, she truly believes in supporting women in general. In her free time, Sydney enjoys spending quality time with her friends. For example, she enjoys target runs and going outside of campus together. You can always talk to Sydney about Gilmore Girls and Game of Thrones as those are her favorite shows. In fact, Sydney’s liking of Steve Lacy and Bruno Mars displays her candied nature. With her undeniable diligence, Sydney is ready to shine in her senior year just like her delicious pastries.

Daira Kaufman, Webb’s choreographer for the dance company instructs the whole dance team. Ms. Kaufman has been choreographing the dancers in many different styles of dancing to perform for the dance show. ”Styles and themes include contemporary dance, jazz, hip hop, K-pop, ballet, dance theater, dance as political satire, dance as resistance, a Community Dinner like you've never seen before, and so much more,” said Ms. Kaufman.

In Advanced Studies Anatomy & Physiology, Marc Zambrano (‘26), Isamar Theobald (‘25), Pristine Thomas (‘25), Geniya Parker (‘26), and Berklee Antecol (’25) work on making a muscle microanatomy booklet to help them study. Working on projects like this helps students learn more about the subject. “There is less emphasis on tests and there are more projects,” said Geniya. “It makes learning more fun and engaging, so I end up learning the material better.”

Payton Delgado (‘25) is sitting on her bed studying for her next quiz in AP Biology. “I usually start studying a couple of days before the quiz,” Payton said. “Usually when I first find out about the quiz, I start to study soon so I can understand the material as much as possible.”
