Leia Albornoz, Staff Writer

Hailing from Rancho Cucamonga, California, Leia Albornoz (‘25) is looking to make her mark as a new Staff Writer for the Webb Canyon Chronicle. Leia stands at a towering 4'11”, and, serving as last year’s VWS freshman class president, she is no stranger to making her voice heard — and that is exactly what she plans to do as a journalist. Leia is also a varsity-level golfer, and one of her goals for this next year is to shoot under forty-five. Aside from playing golf, Leia can be found painting, listening to artists like Ricki Monique and Kanye, and kickin’ it with her crusty white Maltese, Obi. As a sophomore, Leia looks forward to participating in her American Society class, as well as wearing more and more skirts. With her new role at the publication, one of Leia’s main goals is to write meaningful articles that she can look back on with pride.
